After assuming the charge as Principal of this prestigious eighty year old historical institution, I feel honour to render my sincere services to this institution so as to ensure upholding of its rich legacy and keeping the wheel of development moving. The institution, I believe, has lived to its expectations mainly due to the efforts of my predecessors and the faculty of the college.

The college is a multi-faculty co-educational institute offering various UG programmes in Arts, Science, Commerce and Management under NEP 2020 scheme. The state of the art infrastructural facilities available to the students for participating in sports, co-curricular and extra-curricular activities makes it beyond any doubt an institution of par excellence and one of the premier institutions of higher learning in UT of J&K.
