The Department of Physics & Electronics, Government Gandhi Memorial College, Srinagar organized a one-day seminar on “Emerging Technologies” on 5th May 2026 in the College Conference Hall.

The seminar was coordinated by Dr. Mufeed Bashir, Faculty on AA in Computer Applications. The programme witnessed active participation from students belonging to the disciplines of Physics, Electronics, and Computer Applications, reflecting an interdisciplinary academic engagement.

The objective of the seminar was to create awareness among students regarding the latest advancements in emerging technologies and their growing relevance in various fields such as science, industry, and information technology. The seminar also aimed to enhance students’ understanding of contemporary technological trends and their practical applications.

During the session, various aspects of emerging technologies were discussed, including recent innovations and their impact on society. The interactive nature of the seminar encouraged students to actively engage, ask questions, and share their perspectives.

The seminar proved to be highly informative and beneficial for the participants, providing them with valuable insights into current technological developments and future opportunities.
