An orientation programme for staff members was successfully organized by Gandhi Memorial College, Srinagar on 17th April 2026 in the college conference hall. The programme witnessed the active participation of all teaching and non-teaching staff, reflecting a collective commitment towards institutional development and policy awareness.

The session was convened by Prof. Riyaz Ahmad Andrabi, who played a pivotal role in organizing and coordinating the event. The primary objective of the programme was to orient the staff about the NMBA Policy–2026 and to familiarize them with its framework, implementation strategies, and expected outcomes.

The programme commenced with a brief introduction outlining the significance of the policy and its relevance to the academic and administrative functioning of the college. Prof. Andrabi addressed the gathering and highlighted the need for aligning institutional practices with evolving educational standards and governance mechanisms.

During the session, detailed presentations were made explaining various aspects of the NMBA Policy–2026, including its goals, operational guidelines, and the roles and responsibilities of staff members in ensuring its effective execution. The speakers emphasized the importance of collaborative efforts, transparency, and accountability in achieving institutional excellence.

An interactive discussion followed, wherein staff members actively participated by sharing their views, raising queries, and providing constructive feedback. This exchange of ideas contributed to a better understanding of the policy and fostered a sense of shared responsibility among participants.

The programme concluded with a vote of thanks, acknowledging the efforts of the organizers and the enthusiastic participation of the staff.
